What this test measures

This test looks at career adaptability — the everyday strengths that help you cope with change, transitions, and setbacks in your working life. It draws on the well-established idea that adapting well is a set of habits you can build, not a fixed trait. The questions ask how you typically approach your future and your decisions; from your answers, it estimates four adaptability strengths, often called the four C's. It uses original, plainly-worded items, is completely free, and makes no claim to be equivalent to any commercial questionnaire.

The four adaptability strengths

Most people are stronger in some than others; the result shows where you lean right now, and each one can be developed with practice.

How to read your result

Your result is a profile across the four strengths, not a single score of "how adaptable you are". A lower area is less a weakness than a place to practice — for example, building curiosity by exploring one new option this month. Read all four together.

What your results do and don't tell you

This reflects how you say you approach change today — not your ability, your future success, or the one right job. Adaptability grows with practice and support, and it interacts with your circumstances. Use the result for reflection and planning, not as a verdict. It is a free, self-guided exercise, not a clinical or professional assessment.
