Coffee Shop: Team Shift
A live team session — same coffee shop, run together under the clock.
Students join by code and are dealt roles with private information cards. Only by talking do they assemble the full picture: a shared inventory board, three timed storm waves with vendor traps and stakeholder cards to buy, team votes with an owner tiebreak, then a cross-team leaderboard and debrief. It never punishes — you felt the problem the course is about.
- Duration
- 20–30 min, live (facilitator-led)
- Participants
- 8–60 players, auto-formed into teams of 4–5 (up to 12 teams)
- What students take away
- That a 'simple' coffee shop runs on fourteen digital products — and that good decisions need information, a method, and talking to the right people, not just speed.
